COLOR AND LGHT
Learn all about light and all about color in this fun filled day of art and science.  Learn the hidden secrets in a beam of white light. See the world with infrared eyes.  Understand the difference between visible, x-ray or radio light to unlock the secrets of the universe.  Also learn WHY we see color in everyday life.  Learn about primary colors, color mixing and much more.  Terms such as reflection and absorption will be discussed and demonstrated.

GREEK AND ROMAN MYTHOLOGY
Compare how the Greeks, Romans and other ancient people saw the night sky to how we see it today. Compare these stories to other ancient tales.  Follow along with fun activities on these and other cultures.

THE SOLAR SYSTEM
Take a trip around the solar system. Meet the 8 planets; the terrestrial, Jovian and Plutoids of our Solar System.  Learn how the planets are the same and how they differ.  Do fun activities to compare the size and distance of each planets.  Figure out how much you would weigh on each planet.

BEYOND THE SOLAR SYSTEM
Take a trip around the solar system.  See our solar system where it belongs within the galaxy and the larger universe.  Find out the true size of the solar system.  Learn about the the other members of our solar system by doing fun activities through out the day.   Get a Mars Science Laboratory Mission update.  Get the latest information from the Curiosity Rover. and other missions

SMALL BODIES OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM
Take a trip around the solar system. There are 8 planets but over 170 moons in our solar system.  Find out the difference between a dwarf planet, a moon, and asteroid, comet or meteor.  How many of these are potentially hazardous to the earth?  What is the possibility we will be hit by one of these objects?  Do fun activities to explore these different objects.

HISTORY OF SPACE EXPLORATION - THE MOON
The moon: Earth’s Closest Neighbor.  Learn  all about the moon.  Why does it phase? What lights it up? How large is it compared to Earth.  How far away is it?  When did the US first go into space. Fun new activities help answer these and many more questions.  Learn the latest news about manned and unmanned missions to the moon.

HISTORY OF SPACE EXPLORATION - MARS AND BEYOND
Where else has man been in the solar system.  Where else shall we go?  Are we on our way to any other planets or galaxies?  Learn  how far we have gone and how far we want to go. Scout Badge Topics are Covered.

BEYOND THE MILKY WAY
Learn about the galaxy we live in and see many different types of galaxies in the visible universe.  Work on identifying the different types seen by the  Hubble Space Telescope.  Observe the Milky Way as seen on a clear night and then travel with your imagination to see our island universe from the OUTSIDE.  Conclude the day viewing images taken by the Hubble Space Telescope over the last 25 years.  Learn how to peer farther than anyone's seen beyond the Milky Way.

HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE
Explore the fascinating life cycles of the stars…from birth ..to death … and beyond.  Discover white dwarfs, black holes and exploding stars.  Learn about the birth, and death of the universe.  What do giant telescopes tell us about the universe.?  What is dark matter and energy?  How much is out there?  If we can’t see it how do we know it’s there?  Explore Hubble Space Telescope images that show some of the mysteries and wonder of deep space.
